Can storage back up refrigeration?

A critical refrigeration circuit may be supported where the final inverter, transfer architecture, battery power, autonomy, firmware and site wiring meet the load requirement. The design must be confirmed and validated by qualified parties before operation.

Do I need solar as well?

No. Storage delivers peak shaving on its own, and pairs well with rooftop PV where roof area allows.

How large can the system be?

The starting storage unit is 261 kWh. Any multi-unit configuration must be confirmed against the selected architecture, manufacturer limits, controls, site load, available space and local approval requirements.
